Glaser Farms For The Day!

Homestead Florida, land of the green skin avocado and mango, is home to an agricultural wonder by the name of Glaser Farms. This Organic farm has made a name for itself in the rawist community by supplying consumers with fully raw vegan dishes for over thirty years. As one of Florida's first certified organic farms they have developed an extensive menu, some of which can be found at their booth on Saturday at the Coconut Grove farmers market. However, these lunchtime essentials are readily available at a local Florida Whole Foods all seven days of the week.

Upon our arrival we were greeted by the friendly banana spiders who call the power-lines home, don't forget to look up! Unless you find them terrifying, in which case disregard previous text...don't look up though, or left, or anywhere, just....close your eyes.

Once inside, samples of their drinks are provided near the entrance of the shop!

The wonderful thing about this place is their ability to grow, package, and ship their own products, therefore all the ingredients are legibly labeled on the front of all their containers.

Upon entering the shop you will find a wall of refrigerated products towards the left. Since these items are unpasteurized and 100% raw they need to be kept in the cooler as long as possible so be advised to grab those towards the end of your journey.

Bags of ice are provided by the cashier to ensure your items do not spoil on the car ride home, bringing a cooler is a good idea!

As far as dehydrated goods and holistic essentials go Glaser is certainly not lacking. Large metal shelves filled to the brim with teas, extracts, herbs and oils arranged to form isles can be found across from the register.

This location has enough inventory to keep our apothecary stocked for years!
Glaser Organic Farms has proven itself to be the best shop to satisfy all our health food needs!
Well worth the pilgrimage from up north, this place has quickly become our favorite cycling stop.
